Is an Academy more expensive than normal school?

Which school is academically better William Edwards School & sports college in Grays or The Ockendon Academy?

My daughter has a place in The Ockendon Academy, however we are soon to move to Blackshots which is catchment for William Edwards School. Both schools have academy status but was wondering which has the better results? Do I leave my eldest in The Ockendon Academy and use this to get her siblings enrolled there or is William Edwards better academically and we move her to that school. Very few of her friends are attending William Edwards but I don't think this would phase her, and could lessen distractions at the early stages. Does anyone have any results data, and pass %'s?
