Does your school have 8th grade trips?

If I was suspended in 8th grade, will it effect my chances of getting in private school for 9th grade?

  • this year (8th grade) I've been in 2 fights at my public school. my graded are good though. one fight I had ISS and the other I got OSS. I'm going to an entrance exam on Saturday and shadowing next week. if those go good and I pass the test then they transfer the files and they see my behavior... oh and also 2 toned hair is not allowed and my hair is brown with blonde highlights....... PS. last year I applied for this school and got in but decided to stay at my public school, but that was before the fights and suspensions .. my mom told me not to get my hopes up but I really, really want to go there. I need to leave my public school.

    Some schools put all detentions/suspensions/expulsions on the transcript that they send to high schools. Most middle schools do NOT do this. So unless it says that you got a suspension on your transcript, no, it will not effect anything.

I think it will really mess up your chances. I went to a private school, and high lighted hair was okay there, and they also had the no dyed hair rule, so you should be okay on that
