How would I write a research paper on this topic?

It's such a bad topic and I have done the research, but cannot figure out how to write a paper on this topic. In addition, I have found some of my sources to be a bit unhelpful, as they are geared more towards diversity rather than university curriculums... multicultural education, for example. I have to write a PERSUASIVE research paper on this topic -- yes, I have to persuade someone on a topic that does not even Interest me. I have to write the topic on the pro side. Here's the topic: If a university offers African American or Black Studies Courses, it should also offer European-American or White Studies Courses. What I don't understand -- more colleges offer White Studies Courses than they do Black Studies Courses, so the topic doesn't seem to fit in with reality... Any suggestions?
