Please suggest me the best route to cover Madurai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Kodaikanal and nearby places?

1.if you can stay in kamyakumari(kk), drive straigh from b;lore-salem bypass-madurai- kk- ~ 16 hr journey. plan to reach there at ~ 16 00 so as to see sunset, vivek ... rock, etc.stay get up early morning - try your luck on sunrise. seabath, bath, breakfast/ temple[if you are after it] ,come to suchindrum - historic buildings are there on way to nagar coil [sri psdmnabha palace, etc...] if you want one day in /around trivandrum too], on way you can see madurai paces, temples for architecture alone !,curtalam falls, go to rameswaram,[stay?], come to kodaikanal,stay 1-2 days, come back. That belt is full of several forts/temples/herbs[kurinchi , flowerng in 12 years , etc, spl deer that can climb 85o up , effortlessly, etc] .On way to madurai pl pick up a tn tourist brochure set that gives maps, ph nos, etc. you can modify routes as per friends' will, wishes, purse, time, etc... all the best- insist on an alcoholic driver while booking the tempo ! From Bangalore 1. come to Palani via salem and karur. 2. From Palani reach kodaikannal 3. From kodaikannal to Madurai (other route without coming back to palani) 4. Madurai to Rameswaram 5. Rameswaram to kanniyakumari and back Stay at Kodaikannal Rameshwaram Kanniyakumari
