Where should I go for my gap year?

Gap year: where should I go?

• I am taking a gap year and saving for about six months and then traveling for six where would you recommend? I am travelling with a friend and want to go outside of Europe. Where are some really nice places to see? :)

  Since you have a lot of time for travelling, I would go to very far away places that aren't easily accessible. As you can get direct flights for quite cheap to America, that can easily be saved for a 2 week holiday sometime when you're older. Maybe you should try Asia or South America? Once you get there, things like food and accommodation would be very cheap which means you could stay there for longer. If you went somewhere more expensive like Australia, you might have spent all your money within a month as prices are much higher.
