You do not join a college. You need to apply, be accepted, prove you can pay, then apply for a student visa. CA state schools generally have very low international student populations and very high international tuition rates. UCLA would cost you about $50,000 per year.It is not easy to transfer as an international student. Every college will list all majors and minors they offer. Make sure the schools you apply to have your major. Also check out tuition and room and board fees. It is too late to apply to start school this Fall. If you studied UCLA website, you'd find they do not have a Finance major, cost a boatload of money, do not takeinternational students as transfer students, and accept only a few of the world's most superior international students. LA has an extremely high cost of living. BTW, I've never known UCLA to take a transfer student (even a US citizen) from Santa Monica College. LOL!
