Do maggots get drunk when you bury an alcoholic?

How do maggots get inside the coffin? :(?

• When people die, they get buried in a nice polished coffin with no insects inside with the dead body. But people say that there will be insects, maggotts crawling inside the coffin within time. But how they get born? im scared that when I die I will choke on maggots, someone might bury me alive and I won't be able to get out and I WILL become an insect eventually living with all those creepy crawlies!.

  You can relax, put your mind at ease. This will not happen to you unless you are buried in a really cheap or possibly home made coffin. Modern coffins are air tight and treated with a variety of preservatives. Old horror movies may show zombies rising from the grave covered in maggots and worms crawling through their empty eye sockets, but with modern coffins this just CANNOT happen. There is usually a thin layer of either a plasticy resin or even Aluminium that lines the coffin to prevent anything getting inside the coffin once it has been buried. Also, maggots are the pupae of the common house fly, so unless the body has been lying around for a while before being discovered the fly wont have a chance to lay it's eggs on you. And when you are laid to rest, your body will be embalmed, killing any and all possible eggs or maggots that may have been layed on you. I hope you can rest assured now.
