How do I as owner of the yahoo group add a members Yahoo ID to their profile?
-
I have a private yahoo group (no join button) and I have members without a Yahoo ID in their profile. How do I add their Yahoo ID to their profile? If they logon to Yahoo, will their profile automatically update the Yahoo ID? Thanks Bob

Answer:
You as an owner cant. The member has to do it. Those who don't have yahoo ID's are e-mail subscribers only. The only thing you can do as an owners is on the members list you will notice for those, in the column for Yahoo IS it has (Request Profile) <-- click Click it, you'll see a new page with instructions, click 'send request' lower right. It sends that page to the member with those instructions. If they log onto their Yahoo ID, the group wont recognize them on the web until they follow those instructions.
