How do you setup reading yahoo emails through Microsoft Outlook 2003?

  • I have tried to setup a pop3 email account through Microsoft Outlook 2003, it does not seem to be able to login and my login details are 100% right as is the outgoing and incoming servers.

    Yahoo e-mail UK does have POP privileges, according to the last information I had - lucky you. My source details were for @yahoo.co accounts, so I changed the settings to @yahoo.co.uk. There might be differnt port: numbers, but I doubt it; this is a computer function ... Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk (Use SSL, port: 995) Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication) Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.co.uk") Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., [email protected]) Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

I'm not too sure if it free to set up a yahoo mail to send/received emails in MS Outlook 2003 in the U.k. but in the Australia, we have to used the paid version Yahoo Plus. It the only way to get the password working. Anyway I found the link for you.
