Anyone know of any good restaurants in Newquay Cornwall?

Is Newquay a good place to go to?

• So me and a friend want to get away for a few days during the summer and we thought of going to newquay. I had suggested somewhere in cornwall but ive been there before and wanted to go somewhere a bit more exciting. The thing is im probably gonna be sixteen still as my birthday is late summer and we want to go early on in the holidays to soak up the weather. I can see they have loads of adreneline sports which i love. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, where we could stay, or even if there is a better place we could go please let me know! We've been slugging our guts our with school and family life is hell so we need to get away! We also wanted to know if its a good place to meet new people. If any of you know a price range also for a visit like this please mention it! thanks :) xxx

  At 16, you can stay in the Travelodge which is located right in the town centre, close to the beaches and shops. Not many places will allow two 16 years old to stay. Newquay is brilliant, yep loads of water sports (jet ski, kayak, surfing, snorkeling), lots of nice places to eat; either fine dining or cheap chip shops, there's also the zoo, the steam train railway, the aquarium and the farm you can visit. Or you can use public transport to visit the towns nearby, there's lots to visit if you're willing to use the buses; St Michael's Mount, Lands End, Eden Project, Flambards, Scilly island, Paradise Park, Seal Sanctuary, Cornish mines & tramways, the satellite earth station experience, etc.
