How else can you get yahoo points other than giving answers?

• I wonder why I bother with Yahoo 'answers', it is a complete farce, you ask a perfectly straightforward question because you need an answer, but there is always some brainless idiot who will give you a rubbish answer that has no connection whatsoever to your question, just to get the points then when no-one else answers your question, this pratt gets 10 points. What is the use of wanting these points when they are meaningless. I give perfectly sensible answers to peoples questions and when I do get 10 points for best answer, it means something. But these brainless idiots who think they are being funny ruin a perfectly good and helpful site, Why don't Yahoo stop giving out points when their answers are totally irrelevant. If no-one else answers the question then Yahoo should not give 10 points for a best answer if best answer has not been clicked on by the person who has asked the question. It cannot be a best answer when it is the only answer. It is a mockery.

  The responsibility is for you to pick your own Best Answer and for everyone else do the same and there would be far less votes to do and none of the millions that are tied up as Tie Breakers with no result. If you only get useless answers report the ones you can and then delete the question rather than letting it go to the vote. The ball is in your court to solve it for you.
