Is Mint.com a safe and secure website?

  • Do you consider Mint.com a safe and secure financial website to work with. The purpose of the website sounds amazing but I want to be sure this website is secure before uploading my personal financial information. I read a review that said Mint.com is more safe and secure than 80% of user desktops which sounds good but really what does that mean? Thanks in advance for your help

  • Answer:

Yes. I've used it, and my school has used it. It's been rated highly by several different companies and web sites. I'd say it's fine.

Check the websites with http://www.urlvoid.com/ and http://www.spycss.com/ to know if the site is infected/scam or if it is safe to visit. Both services are free to use and I would recommend to check all unknown websites before visiting them.
