Screen Resolution problem when exiting a game!?
-
So today I was playing the Diablo 3 open beta weekend, and today I changed the settings on the game down to enhance performance. It was originally on 1080p x 1920, which is my monitors default resolution, and I lowered it, however when I exited to the desktop the settings did not revert to my default resolution and I'm left with these 2 inch black boarders around my screen, it's driving me crazy. I have played around with the resolution on my actual monitor, and on my desktop (by right clicking then pressing screen resolution) however it did not do anything to help. I also tried re-booting the game and changing the settings and closing, no luck. And I went into safe mode, changed the resolution and still no luck. I'm currently running on windows 7, with a 1080x1920 monitor with 60 hertz refresh rate connected with a HDMI cable, Is it maybe problem with my video card? Any help is much appreciated :)

Other answers
the issue is possibly the screen, press the auto button on the screen, most have option buttons and the Auto feature is sometimes a button, or in the menu itself.

Reload the driver for the video card to get back the resolutions available that you had before the game play.
