i have a nokia c5-00. i want to know if there is an app (prefered offline) for reading the common barcode we find in the shopping malls. if there is a site online in which i can type the barcode and it will show the product with its price. If possible, with price comparison. Anyway i basically require an app which will tell me the price when i enter or scan a barcode( the common barcodes).

Truthfully there are no apps with offline access to scan a barcode and identify your products. As newer products are added, the app would have to be updated daily to store billions of barcodes. That would make the app go up to several gigabytes to keep that info fresh and ready offline. The way to keep that limited in storage space is to make it online or as the term is called "In The Cloud".
