How can i get wifi through bluetooth on my phone?

Do i get charged for using wifi on an at&t smart phone?

• im so confused because the stupid people who work at at&t keep giving me different answers about stuff. so i ask them if i just use the wifi at my house do i get charged at all for the internet? then they say yes you have to pay $30 for it then i ask someone else and they say $20 so im thinking why would you even have to pay for it if your only using wifi? some people say it is strictly free no matter how many times you use the wifi but i dont know. im wanting to get a samsung rugby smart phone. plus i own an at&t modem and i use wifi for the ps3 and xbox and i do not get any additional charge for it. all i want is a straight up answer about this im gettin so frustrated with people telling me differnet things if you truely know about if you get any little fee or what not please tell me or is it just straight up free? thank you so much

  WiFi does not go through a phone company network unless you are at an ATT hotspot (and then it's supposed to be free for iPhone users) or unless you are using the phone to connection your WiFi network to the internet. So the possibilities are: 1. You connect the phone to the WiFi network at your house which connects to the internet though some device (modem or router). Your phone's data plan is not used. 2. You connect one or more of your systems to the Internet through your phone. Your phone's data plan is used in this case. 3. You connect to the Internet from your phone though the phone company network, rather than WiFi. Your phone's data plan is used here too. You might want to rethink your choice of smart phones and get an iPhone. There is more to a phone than just the specs on the box. There is build quality, user experience, stability, and support which are all very important to your enjoyment of the phone.
