Is there any way to get a video to play like this?

I know how to get a video from my computer to play on PowerPoint on my OWN computer. But if I email it to another computer it won't play. How can I make it do this? It's a video downloaded on my computer, not on a website.

You can use authorSTREAM Desktop (Download link :- http://www.authorstream.com/desktop/ ) a free add-in for PowerPoint 2007\2010 ribbon to embed the videos (AVI and WMV) in PowerPoint slide and then upload the presentation on authorSTREAM http://www.authorstream.com/. After upload a link is generated, that you can share ( publicly or privately) with anyone on any computer.
