How to install windows xp on pendrive as external os like linux.?

When i tried to install xp on pendrive , it shows a messege"selected partition is not a primary one please choose primary hard drive." So is there any way to install xp on pd as portable os like linux?

No it can be only put on a pendrive to use to install on a computer

the howtos are online. just google: windows live cd windows live usb the only difference is the procedure for writing the image to USB. good luck!
