How much can a loft bed hold?

Anyone have ideas of what I should use to hold my computer while sleeping on loft bed?

I will be moving into an apartment and having a loft bed, with my desk underneath. Sometimes I like to go on my computer in bed and usually just place it on the ground when im done with it. Since I cant really do that with a loft bed, does anyone suggest any bed caddys thats are sturdy enough? or any other ideas?
