My only pc (Vista) just got the black screen of death, how can i fix it?

When I turn it on it loads a black screen with a blinking line. Nothing I do can exit it. I tried ctrl+alt+del and it just restarted to the same screen, I tried the boot menu and tried the original hard drive and it loaded the same screen. How can I fix this? I'm pretty sure it was caused when I was connected to the internet and found a weird audio file directly in "my computer". I tried opening it and it shut down the pc and opened the black screen
