Sony vegas pro video help?

I can't import video in sony vegas pro 11 please help?

So i recently just bought sony vegas pro 11 i just installed it and now i took my video off of youtube (i had to put it onyoutube to save it, couldnt email it or put it on cd anyways) It says that it cant import the video because of codec ive converted the video to AVI, mp4, WMV and nothing is working. what am i doing wrong?

The best fomat for sony vegas is WMV. if you want to edit video ,you had better convert the MP4 to WMV. If you only need the audio , I think WMA is better choice. Since you only have some videos to convert ,I think you can use the trial version of AVS Video Converter ,it supports mp4 to many format ,including WMV,WMV,MP3 and ect. Have a try.
