Why does my blackberry still save browser history when I delete it?

On my 9300 Ill delete history when online by pressing the blackberry key and going to history then clear history, but when I go onto my homescreen and type say google an icon comes up on browser history with hundreds of past sites I have been on... How can I delete these they must take up loads of memory.. Thanks in advance

Answer:
It's easy Press the Blackberry key again, then instead of going to history go to options, in options go to Cache Operations, and there keep on pressing on the clear button, it will erase everything, then press the back button, and it will say clearing history! Good Luck!
