Is it safe to video chat on Omegle?

• Till now I've just used the text chat option but I really want to use the video chat option. I'm a 19 year old male BTW. But is it safe? What I'm worried about..is that will my video feed be used on p0rn sites? lol because I've seen webcam feeds being used on those sites.I don't want my friends to be browsing those site and suddenly seeing me! lol And are there any other dangers?

  Well, think of it this way: Omegle doesn't have a built-in webcam recorder like some other video chat sites do (FB Rounds for example - http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/conv/?publisherid=elena&campaignid=YA&bannerid=0 ). So anyone who wants to record you has to go through the extra step of setting up software specifically to record you. However, why would they want to record you? I mean, if you're just talking and fully clothed, there is no particular incentive for them to be sharing that on adult sites -- BUT if you are exposing yourself then there is more incentive. That said, there is no shortage of males who expose themselves on webcams, so your image isn't going to really be in high demand. tl;dr: I wouldn't really worry about it. ;)
