How can I make my blue eyes brighter?

How can I make my gray eyes look blue? Or Green?

  • My eyes are naturally this really dull, soulless, unfortunate looking light gray colour. I mean really gray, none of this blue-gray funny business for me. Anyways, on the rare occasion, they will look crystal blue, or light green, but they are usually just plain gray. I would like to know if there are any tips - makeup, hair clothes... anything that will give my eyes some colour, or at least make them look less lifeless. My sister has the same eyes (twins - so exactly the same) and she often gets hers to look sort of aqua with makeup, but she won't share the secrets with me, and our mom has brown eyes, so no help there. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

diffrent colors of mascara, eyeliner, and shadow techniques can get you this. i would suggest stalking youtube beauty vlogs and/or makeup tutorial sites. they have palettes of makeup now designed to bring diffrent colors out of eyes. also the colors you wear can effect this, wheni wear green or black my eyes look green, purple or blue, blue. i also find that they turn greener when i tear up. i like to joke that i "cry all the blue/grey out"

Eyeshadow can be a great help in emphasising eye colour. Usually the opposite colour is used. I have grey/green eyes and purple toned eyeshadow makes the green stand out so I use browns with purple undertones. Orange toned colours like gold/bronze make blue stand out.

makeup can help a lot with that! i use dinair airbrush makeup and they allowed me to email in my picture and then they suggested which of their shades i should get...im sure if you told them what you were wanting they would be able to help you get the right colors...i hope i helped in some way =)

I would recommend a bronze-gold toned eyeshadow or liner...sometimes lilac or purple works too! Just experiment :)
