I need help with hair ideas and color.

Any cute hair dying ideas?

  • I'm turning 14 this year & I've already dyed my hair 2 times. The last time I dyed it was around 6 or 7 months ago. The colors fabulous towards the tips, but roots are getting really dark. I've been wanting to dye it something new, but need some ideas. Right now, its a light brown (orange-ish) towards bottom and almost black on top (by roots) and some orange highlights that are slowly fading from the top. I do NOT want to go blonde, keep in mind that I have dark brown eyes and dark eyebrows; so blonde would look terrible! I've thought about just redying it or some cute brown and gold highlights or something. But I kinda want something that will last awhile and still be cute ON ME! I don't honestly want it to look cute in a pic or magazine, and then have it look terrible with my complexion or eye color. I've also thought of just bleaching my bangs, to give it an edgy look. Also, I thought about going with a color like streaks of blue or red or purple etc. Or possibly the top part of my hair that color. (Also, my hair is medium length and super thin.) As you can tell, im VERY picky but open to some cute ideas! Help! Thanks!(:

    I think you should dye it red/brown. Then get red highlights.

I have an edgy, but sweet cute style. I like to dye my hair almost all the time. I have dark brown eyes and fairly dark eyebrows. I get what you mean. Right now though, I have white/blond hair, and I'm turning it cotton candy blue later. I bleached it twice, then used "White Virgin" by Manic Panic to get the yellow out (it's a toner) and it gave it that cool blue-toned blond. I also have a warm, golden yellow skin tone. Looking at hair swatched helps a lot in finding a color you want. Good luck. You're young (my age, xD) so expirement. You might really like the results.
