Why does my hair fall out so much?

• Im 15 and my hair is about 5cm below my shoulders,i used to be midely anorexic but even before that my hair used to come out. When i brush it about 12 strands come out, even more comes out in the shower and even when i run my hands through my hair a couple come out,i wash my hair every 2 days with shampoo and conditioner thats suppost to strenghten hair. My hair is thin,it always has been,the only thing i could think of is i straighten my hair 5 times a week for school,but then i use protector spray. Im worried incase i go bald or something

  Your hair is already dead, there's no such thing as "live hair". If your hair is naturally thin then you have to be more careful with it than someone with naturally thick hair. That means, stop using your straighteners, save it for special occasions. In fact, thin/fine hair looks thicker when its curly so if your hair is wavy/curly it would be better to leave it that way. Heat protectant helps but even the motion of pulling and squeezing down on your hair will damage it. Having a good diet help a great deal so try your best to eat well although i know its easier said than done. Also use home made masks with extra virgin olive oil in them they are great (i use them myself.) If your still losing a lot of hair it wouldn't hurt to visit your doctor he'll maybe check your blood to see if there's a reason why its falling out but try resting your hair well first.
