At what age should I become an EMT-Paramedic?

What age do you become an adult?

• Now before you all start throwing out the "moron" and "what an idiot" answers. I know damn good and well what the age is to be an adult and in what states it is different. So I know the answer to my question already but sadly on here I read people giving the wrong age all the time. So what age are you an adult? And by adult I mean no longer legally under your parents control. The "age of majority" is what it is called. This is an easy easy question and I will be very disappointed in all those who are wrong. BQ: What states is the "age of majority" different from all the rest? And what is the age for those states? Oh and I will be giving a thumbs down to all incorrect answers, so you'll know you are wrong and can go look up what the real age is to be considered legally an adult.
