How do I get a moroccan ID card, as I was born in London?

• Ok so: I was born in London to an Iranian father and Moroccan mother. My father died when I was a baby and I have no contact whatsoever with my mother. I have lived with my grandparents, my grandmother is moroccan and my grandfather is iraqi since I was six. I know I need documents such as a birth certificate, and proof that my parents where married or whatever, but my mother has lost everything and I only have a british id card and a british passport. I've heard that I can get my birth certificate re-issued, but I really want to get a moroccan id card, as it will be much more easier for me as I go to morocco four or five times a year.

  You should post this in the "morocco" section in yahoo. a lot of Moroccans will be able to help you out and answer your question. For me personally, i know that you can not be a citizen of morocco unless your father is moroccan. i am not sure if it is the same thing for the moroccan ID card.
