Good name for a school club/charity?

I want to change my name.. I am in high school.. good idea?

  • My dad has a record and I have his full name. I dont really like him and a couple of times someone at school has asked me why someone with my name is on a jail site.. Its embarrassing.. Apparently I was around 1 years old when it happen. So I want to change my name to Remy Pierre (Last Name). It was a french name we had to choose in French class. I want to change it this summer before I start a new school hopefully.. I will be a senior. I am 18 years old. I feel embarressed because everyone who knows me by my real name will make fun of me.. I do not plan on telling them why I changed it. How long would this process take and can you tell me more information on it.. Also I have a job. Will my name change there also?
