What Is My African Zodiac?

What do you think about the impact the Zodiac has had on people's lives and pop culture?

• I noticed for something that's been regarded as superstition, and debated on if real or not (with references from the bible), astrology has become very influential on people's lives. With the internet being more accessible nowadays, people have been dabbling in this zodiac stuff more profusely, making it more popular- but also making it almost a staple in current day lives of people with a curiousness and pride in discovering their Zodiac sign and who it makes them. I don't dabble in it like it was a study subject like others would, and I also believe that it's superstition and a practice of the occult-but I can't deny it's influence on people. It's also scary to think that a group of people are gonna go believing that they were born powerful or good-looking- all based around their zodiac sign. This is something you have to prove with logic- not some occult belief. More and more people are believing in it because it makes them proud, or some people are scared that if they don't learn about their Zodiac sign, it will leave them oblivious to who they really are. It's also scary to think that people are now gonna be socially segregated based on this Zodiac non-sense. Verbal conflicts are going on online based on people's Zodiac signs. What if wars start because of this? What if people believe that they have water powers? Or wind powers? I know that's ridiculous, but so are people thinking they belong to a family of Rams.This Zodiac stuff is a dangerous, occult study to me, and it's only stripping people of their own humanity and uniqueness in favor of streamlined behavior, and thought processes. Why do people dabble in it? Because it's convenient for people to follow, and they are being subconsciously controlled whether they like it or not. Are there any books on this Zodiac stuff and how influential it is on people's lives? This is very scary stuff because it's stripping people of their humanity and freedom without them realizing it. I know I can't really explain myself better, but it would be great to hear what the Y! Answers community think about it. Thanks for your responses.
