What are some really good editing photo websites?

  • What are some really good websites to edit your photos? Here are some that i know of: Pixlromatic, photo bucket and phixr photo editor.

    I used to use Picnik and I thought it was amazing. Sadly, it closed yesterday. I found 2 more websites that I think are even better than Picnik. They are: ipiccy.com and picmonkey.com. Both are excellent.

So I have seen lots of comments about the impending departure of one of my favorite programs, Picnik. I am also feeling a bit sad that it is closing down because Picnik was one of the main programs I used my first few years of blogging to design and edit photos. Knowing for a few months now that it was going to close has pushed me to dive into Photoshop and learn the skills I need to go forward. Today I decided to play around with a great new program that I think you all will love. I dare say it is even better than Picnik. (Gasp!)

Citrify, iPiccy, PicMonkey, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images.
