What are some good websites for teen photography contests?

Photography websites?

  • Okay so I'm a freshman and I love photography. Recently, I got my first real classy(; camera -- Sony NEX5. I looking for some websites that you can post photos and enter contest s with them and all that. Please be free(: Sort of like a more serious Instagram or flickr but with contests.. Thank you!!!

I'd keep an eye out on the BJP Online for news of comps. It's a great website as well! Also try www.photographycompetitions.net The best in my opinion is; http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/category/news/competitions/ The standard is incredibly high, but that's a good thing. I'd look at the 2011 category winners and learn about those images, then set about making some great work from there! Good luck, it's rock hard but great fun!
