How long do mice live without food?

Can mice live on people food instead of actual mouse food?

  • cause i used to have a bird and the bird seeds attracted wild mice and i think the mouse food will also attract wild mice cause it has like seeds in it so i was wandering if they could live on people food so i don't have to get actual mouse food which therefore will be no wild mice. cause my mum says i wont be allowed to get a mouse cause it will attract wild mice. So if this is possible would you please tell me what foods they can eat. any help will be appreciated. thanks!!!

Mice can eat almost anything! Mice are scavengers so they rely on any and everything they can find. You can feed a mouse vegetables that are sliced real thin or table scraps. Just be sure to replace the food bowl a couple times a day if you are serving scraps. Also keep in mind that rodent teeth are constantly growing so provide them with something to chew on like a wooden toy. Remember to thouroghly wash raw veggies before feeding to the mice (pesticides).

Any people food you offer will also be enjoyed by wild mice. Just seal the mouse food in a plastic container to make your life easier. Getting the proper nutrition from people will be a pain in the rear.
