What food from a house do minnows eat?

Will White Cloud Mountain Minnows eat Goldfish food?

• Recently I bought a tank with Goldfish food. I read online about how goldfish need 20 gallons or larger, so I wanted to get White Cloud Mountain Minnows. But will they eat the Goldfish food, or do I have to buy new food?

  Is it a flake food? if it is a flake you can feed them the goldfish food, it won't hurt them. When the goldfish food is getting low, then get the tropical fish food. The tropical will bring out their colors better. If you have a pellet food, and if you have not opened it yet, you might swap it for a different food. The pellets are going to be harder for the white clouds to eat. Thank you for going and doing some research before rushing out and buying a fish :) I did a tank set up with white clouds and found them to be quite lovely. If you have never owned fish before they are a really good first choice since they are forgiving if any mistakes in their care and very hardy. Can't beat the colors either, they're somewhat iridescent and have a nice rainbow look to them when the light catches them just so.
