Assuming you live someplace with BSL since you don't freaking specify WHERE you are - Staffs are still seen as "pitbulls" so you're screwed either way. How the heck should we know? Its a random mutt with parents of unknown quality. Add to that we know JACK of your level of competency when it comes to these breed, ability to train, how your siblings behave etc. *facepalm* you do know that most people can't tell the difference between a staff and an APBT RIGHT? that if its seen as a pit it will be treated as such correct? And again what part of if you don't specify where the feck you are, we can't even give you an accurate answer? so I suggest you ask your local animal control/game warden.

First off, the legal aspect depends on the laws in your areas. If pit bulls and pit bull type dogs are illegal in your area, then YES a pit/staff cross would still be illegal. Secondly, if you're already asking if the dog will be aggressive with your younger siblings, you're NOT educated enough to own a bully breed, and you need to look elsewhere.

If you live in England, yes, I believe they are illegal there. If you live in the US, there are cities that have laws against pits and pit crosses and other 'dangerous' breeds being on the street without a muzzle or being registered with the city. Other than those cases, I believe it is up to you what you want to own. However, if you don't buy a puppy from a litter that is registered, you will not be able to register the dog. And there are no registries that I know of that will 'register' a mixed breed without it being spayed/neutered as in the AKC Companion Dog program.
