I try to download Minecraft on my computer, but it says I have bad video drivers?

What OS is your computer running on......? If its not Windows 7 then that's your first problem.

i once got that problem 2 with my other computer so i putt off hardware accelleration and it worked again its somewhere at the display settings click advanced click troubleshooting (3rd tab) and it should be there somewhere at a slide bar slide it to the middle and a bit to the right this is how i did it on my windows XP it might be different on win7 / vista but you should know that you should set it back to full to play some games at my game it said also something about pixel acellerator/shader and not supporting openGL accelleration but when i putt off hardware acceleration it worked again

What video card do you have? That may determine why you get this error. The message: "Pixel format not accelerated" may mean your video card does not have the required hardware accelerators required by the game. and "Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode" means your card does not support OpenGL to the required level for the game. Updating drivers will help only if the video card supports these requirements with the latest driver.
