Why does firefox crash?

Why Mozilla firefox crash very frequently in my PC?

  • I tried to remove for reinstalling the 'Firefox' using 'add' 'remove' programme.Frequent try for 'remove' does not remove it from the system.How to reinstall then ? Can any body guide me. Why it crashes frequently? Thanks for your time.

    Did you download the latest version? If so, you might have some spyware or other sought of rogue application on your computer. That happened to me once, I got Kaspersky and I cleared away about 4 Trojans. Also, do you have a lot of extensions? Extensions could slow down Firefox. Oh, so you are also having trouble deleting too, then you probably got to download File assassin. I know people say download this and that, and I suppose you are lazy to download, but it really does remove files trust me, oh it comes with malware bytes anti Malware. Good luck!

Go to "C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder Mozilla Firefox , and then you go to " Control Panel" Add or Remove Programs and delete Firefox Mozilla from there to ! Install Google Chrome and Enjoy :)

It happened to me as well when I was using firefox 8 or 9. It kept crashing very frequently i.e. Every 4 to 5 min. Download the firefox 10.

switch to google chrome. though personally, i prefer firefox. :)
