How to connect to bluetooth device in Java?

Can you connect a bluetooth device to a Desktop computer using the internal bluetooth in a laptop/tablet?

I just want to try something out (one of those cool tricks with the wiimote to be more exact) that requires bluetooth with my desktop and don't really want to go out and buy an adapter just for it. Anyways I have a laptop and a tablet that both have bluetooth and I wanted to know if theres some way to connect the device to my desktop through either my laptop or tablet?
