Can I connect windows PC to Android phone with WiFi Direct?

Can I connect my Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Android 2.3.6 phone with my Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit PC?

I want to know whether after connecting my mobile to my computer, I can use the broadband internet of my computer to update and install apps on my android mobile device for better internet speed? since i do not have a 3G network in my area and 2G internet is just too slow for all these purposes! Please help me out on this friends!

Yes you can. Download Samsung's Kies Air (freeware) from their websites. It will coach you right through it. I just did it, it is awesome!

for conenction you can use : bluetooth, data cable, or wifi on your PC (you must have wifi adapter) if you use vista and have wifi adapter you can make your PC as a wifi hotspot (thethering) so your android can connect to your PC or connect to internet via PC. you can search in internet how to make a PC as wifi hotspot

If you want to use the broadband internet on your phone, wifi seems the basic bet , if your modem does not have wifi , buy a wifi dongle
