How to scan in mass effect 3?
-
Hey, Im playing Mass effect 3 and I have to do the first scanning quest called Shrike Abyssal: Prothean Obelisk, its a side mission and you have to scan the planet called Talis Fia. But every time I select the planet or any planet it doesnt come up with scan as an opition. Ive looked up how to scan planets and they say that the 'Press Y to scan' should be there, but it aint for me on that planet or any other planets. Im probably just an idiot who hasnt done something or i dont know but its frustrating me. Can you please tell me how I can scan a planet. All it ever says is 'Press B to exit orbit' Thanks in advance

Answer:
You may have scanned it already, and if that is true, then you just need to return and give it up. Sometimes you can not do it until you get past a part of the game.
