Can I make my non wireless printer into a wireless printer?

I have a HP laserjet 4000TN printer that I really like. I want to know if i can make my printer a non wireless printer by connecting it to a dongle. Or is there another way. By having a the serial port connected to the printer (that has its end as a USB), i was thinking of putting a dongle to that. That way I can connect my laptop to the dongle. The printer does not have a usb connection.

i have lexmark impact s301. my connection was USB but i changed it to wireless. so this is how i did it: i think you should try it. first i uninstalled my software by going to the control panel and uninstalling it (obvious). then i installed it again. throughout the installing process there will be instructions on what you should do. there was a check box throughout the installing process that said "usb" and the other one aid "wireless" so ou have to check that box and choose your connection. then it will work. HOPE I HELPED!
