Help using laptop monitor for PS3 with cables.?
-
I ordered a HDMI-F to DVI-M Video Adaptor to use my laptop as a PS3 monitor. My laptop does support HDMI (I think because it has a HDMI-F for output) It is a Lenovo laptop (IDK what kind). Well how will I be able to use my laptop as a monitor for my PS3 after I get the Adaptor (I already have a HDMI cable)?

Answer:
Sorry to have to tell you this but the hdmi port on your laptop (and everyone's laptop) is almost certainly for output only. Laptop screens aren't meant to be used as monitors. What you need is a tv or standalone computer monitor. Also, doesn't the ps3 have hdmi-out? What is the dvi adapter for?
