How do I use my webcam?

I lost my webcam program after a virus attack. How do I use my built-in webcam on my laptop?

• I used to have a program that came with my computer, (it was easy to access because there was an icon for it on my desktop) when I got my new Dell laptop with Windows 7 a couple years ago. I'm kicking myself because I don't remember what the program was called, but it was really cool because it had backgrounds and features that you would get with a photo booth. Anyway, my computer got infected with a virus and I had to pay a guy to fix it. I dunno what he did to it, but when I got it back, everything looked different. He may have changed the software. I don't understand computers at all, but I want to be able to use my webcam like I used to!!! Is there any chance I could find that webcam program hiding somewhere in my computer? Or does anyone else have this on their computer so I at least know what it's called and maybe I can get it again? : (

  Go to dell's website, tech support, software download, look for you computer model, it will show a list of driver for your computer's webcam. After you install the driver you are good to go did that guy install an antiviurs program for you? It not it is likely for you to get virus again in the future. An unprotected computer is prone to virus and malware. I am pretty sure you paid more than $50 for the repair, an antivirus is not a bad investment
