Memory Card SD and Flash Drives cannot Format?

Here's the deal: My Memory Card and Flash Drives are working before.. I can SAVE, Transfer/Move, and Delete files on my Memory Card and Flash Drives using USB Port on my PC.. But one day, my 2 flash drives suddenly begin having problem while i was deleting all of the files inside... both of the Flash Drives acted this way... Problem: Doesn't delete anything that I want to delete... the loading bar for "Deleting" was just stuck... it doesn't delete the file... Anyway, thinking that i don't have any important files on that Flash Drives (both of them), I resort on unplugging the Drives and Reconnecting it.. When i Connect the Drives, i cant access the drive, it gives me an prompt of "Windows needs to format the Drive" Oh well, i Format it, then nothing "Windows was Unable to Complete the format." Now, i tried to insert my Memory Card [Micro SD 4GB] through the computer using Card Reader Hardware... At first i can access the files, then it again wont delete any files,.. i get a stuck Deleting Loading Bar then now i cant Reformat my Memory Card also.. and giving me "Windows was Unable to Complete the format." when i try to...
Answer:

try reinstalling your chipset drivers for your motherboard/laptop. that handles USB. sometimes they get corrupted. before that, repair your filesystem and defrag.

always format a new flash drive first (fat32) because there's a slim chance of writing errors if you don't in your case....so copy all the files from your flash drive onto your desktop and then format the flash drive and then finally copy the files back onto the flash drive
