Windows 7 won't boot anymore! Please help!?
-
Okay here's the situation... I just built my first computer with an i7 2600k, gigabyte motherboard, 16 gb of vengeance ram, evga ge force 550 ti gpu, intel ssd 128 gb hd, blue ray drive, and 1 tb WD HDD Okay so I got it all put together fine and I spent a pretty penny on this. Needless to say I wanted to save money so I got my brother to upload an image of Windows 7 and burnt it to a DVD as a .iso file. I installed it by going into bios and assigning my blue ray drive as #1 boot priority and it worked great! I partitioned my ssd and let the installation take it's course. After Windows installed i did all of the usual drivers like chipset, lan, usb, audio and video card. Then i got a nice anti virus and installed allllll of the windows 7 updates. Then I started getting onto the usual drivers from the internet like itunes, adobe, and other things that you need to do typical web surfing stuff like youtube, groovesharl etc. I spent all night on the computer surfing the web, watching awesome graphics, and listening to music. Everything was amazing and I couldn't believe how awesome my computer was! Whats the problem you ask??? I went to bed last night after shutting the computer down and when i woke up to start it Windows will no longer boot!! I've tried the quick system repair like 5 times. I tried inserting my Windows disk and tred to do the self repair but it won't let me. I cant get into windows because everytime I start it up it gets to the little windows icon and then all of a sudden goes to a BLACK SCREEN. Then my monitor's power led light turns orange as if it isn't going to recognize anything else. Please I need help desperatley! Is my computer absolutley screwed? I've rebooted a bunch of times already and I don't know what else to do. Anyone else have this problem. Seriously if your advice solves the problem I will remember you forever!! Any help is much appreciated! Thank you thank you!

Answer:
Ok, you might have a bad motherboard.. Sorry man. As your problem as your windows booting up and shutting down as black screen, if you have a spare harddisk, install the windows 7 on it and check if turns on. Also check your motherboard if you have capacitors ( battery looking thing that is upright) if it has little bluge comming out. Usally they are flat. Also check if your cables (i mean any loose connection can affect this too). If it boots up then goes to black screen, its most likey to be the Harddisk or the motherboard. Sorry for my bad English. I am also couriouse as what you mean as awesome graphics........ Maybe viruses affecting this too? Last resort, your cpu is over heating......
