Help with itouch urgent?

HELP, THIS A EMERGENCY! iTouch won't function properly, and I've tried everything to resolve the problem?

• My 32GB 2nd generation iTouch went through a lot of trouble lately. The 1st case was the power button not able to shut down, wake, or sleep, until the audio jack wasn't functioning properly, which means I was no longer able to lower or increase the volume with the earphones, and I was only able to listen with the left speaker. I tried cleaning it, but I had no pipe cleaners, so I had to use paper clips instead, which I believed damaged the audio jack. Recently, my iTouch fell in the toilet, and I wasn't running out of time. My iTouch began scrolling by itself, typing by itself, opening apps by itself, and adjusting the volume itself at the middle of the night. I then used the method of dry rice, and I waited approximately for 23 hours. It only resolved the typing and the apps-selecting, but the scrolling and volume remained. I had no choice but to try to make another backup folder, which last backed up in November 2011. I tried to backup, but my iTouch's symptoms were creating a hassle for me to backup. ITunes couldn't recognize my iTouch. I tried everything. Hard resets. Holding the power button and menu at the same time. Nothing. I then decided I had to restore. Difficulties occurred once more. It worked, but I can't connect to my Wi-Fi. I can't back it up with the original back up since I don't know the password. Now, the volume screen and the red slider won't stop appearing. Please do help me out.

  if ur still using a itouch 2 now, ur lucky, u have outlasted what was expected. it seems like it can't be helped, move on and get a new one.
