How do I transfer iTunes playlists to my new computer?
-
I transferred all of my music over to my new computer using a flash drive. I kept all the files in the same basic folders as they were in before. After adding all my songs to the library, I realized I didn't have my playlists. I looked up how to transfer them, and someone on a forum had said to copy the "iTunes Library.itl" and "iTunes Music Library.xml" files from my old computer and put them on the new computer. I did this, and my iTunes now looks JUST like it did on my old computer.... but it can't play any of the files, because it can't find them. I will not fine each of the 3000 songs individually! How do I fix this problem? Hopefully not having to start over... Thanks in advance for your answers!

Answer:
Connect iTunes to your computer with the USB and then, transfer the files to there... Good luck!
