What are videos editing software recommendations?

What Video Editing Software is best for HD videos?

  • I have Vegas Movie Video HD Platinum (v. 11) right now, and it's too complicated and tedious RAM Previewing my videos every single time I make a change or an adjustment. The lagging is HORRIBLE. I'm trying to shoot music videos, so I have different scenes and different effects throughout the video constantly, and I need a PROGRAM that will let me edit HD videos without the lagging. What video editing software/programs will let me edit HD videos and have no lag during the preview? I need something with as many features as Sony Vegas. I have a HP laptop (64bit) running on Windows 7, with pretty good ram.

  • Answer:

For basic editing, AVS Video Editor is a great choice: It's also free trial, so that's always nice.
