My blackberry bbm and facebook are not working ?

My blackberry bbm and facebook are not working. When I go onto my bbm I am not gettting anymore updates and nothing will send. And when I go on facebook it says i cant connect even though I am connected to the internet. Also I can go on blackberry app world. It's telling me "The data service not operational" I dont get it ? Everything else on my phone is working. I have tried shutting it down and all that stuff and nothing is helping. My sisters phone is fine. Does anyone know what is going on?

Answer:
if you have a 2g and 3g enabled phone switch to 3g or to 2g depending on which one u have active if not do hard reset (battery pull) trust me it works its happened to me loads of times
