Should i buy a Samsung Galaxy Player or should i wait until the next generation iPod touch if it will come out?

I want to buy the samsung galaxy player but should i wait until apple releases the iPod Touch 5G? I don't even know if they will but assuming they do, would it be better to wait until iPod Touch 5G comes out and compare that to the Samsung Galaxy Player? Or is it no doubt that the new iPod Touch would not be any better than the samsung galaxy player that don't need wait until then and buy the galaxy player now instead?
