Difference between r4 and micro sd?

What's the difference between a Micro SD card and Micro SDHC card?

  • My free spotify runs out on my mobile next week (I have a samsung galaxy W) So... I need somewhere to store and add music. I have a San Disk 2GB SD card currently in my phone... but its not working properly, so I'm guessing I need a new one. Do I get a SanDisk Micro SDHC card or a SanDisk Micro SD card? What's the difference? Which is best for my phone? Would they fit? Also,... what GB would you recommend, I will eventually have around 400/500 songs on my phone, so I dont know what GB I need? Also, my computer doesnt let me add the music onto the card/... so what do I need to buy to be able to transfer the music onto it (someone said a reader card or something, but i have no idea what one of those is!?) If you can link me to the products you recommend on amazon, I would be hugely grateful, as I have no idea what to get! Thanks xxoo

    SDHC means "High capacity". Most SD cards are around 2-4GB. SDHC is just the name for any SD card that has more than that, up to 32 (SDXC is Xtreme Capacity, which is like 64GB) They're all the same.

Your phone works with either micro SD or micro SDHC. The main difference between SD and SDHC is that SDHC have higher capacities than SD. There's no such thing as an SD card with greater than 2GB capacity. Because of higher capacities, most SDHC cards generally have to be able to store and retrieve information faster than SD cards.
